Part design considerations
- Which surfaces must remain uncoated (threads, ground contacts, sealing faces) needs to be specified up front
- Color and gloss matching requirements should be confirmed with a physical standard where possible
DFM guidance
- Tell us which features must stay coating-free during quoting so masking/fixturing is built into the process, not added as rework
