Notice at collection
When you submit our contact or RFQ form, we collect the categories of personal information described in our Privacy Policy — identifiers (name, email, phone), commercial information (project/RFQ details), and any file you choose to upload. We collect this to respond to your inquiry and prepare quotations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do disclose project information for a business purpose: preparing a quotation requires sending drawings, CAD geometry and part requirements to tooling vendors, raw material suppliers, subcontractors and outside machine shops — some of them outside the United States. Those are service-provider and contractor relationships for the purpose of quoting and performing the work, not sales of personal information. Our Privacy Policy describes the recipient categories and the countries involved. [Counsel to confirm this characterization — in particular whether each recipient category qualifies as a service provider or contractor under the CCPA/CPRA, and whether the required contractual terms are in place with each.]
Your California rights
Depending on applicable law, California residents may have the right to know, delete, correct, or limit use of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. [Counsel to confirm applicability given company size/data volume, and finalize the exact rights and request process required.]
On deletion specifically, read the "Asking us to delete your information" section of our Privacy Policy before you make a request. It sets out honestly what we can and cannot reach: active systems yes; backups, snapshots and shadow copies not selectively; and vendors — some outside the United States — only by passing your request on to them. [Counsel: reconcile that operational reality with the statutory deletion right before publication, including the treatment of backup systems and the obligation to direct service providers and contractors to delete.]
