Gaming machines are cosmetic products that live in hard commercial service. A bezel has to look flawless on the floor under casino lighting, take constant handling for years, and match the machine beside it that was built eighteen months earlier. The hard part is rarely the molding — it is holding appearance consistent across cavities, across runs, and across years.

Materials & processes we use most

  • Injection molding of cabinet components, bezels, button decks, and trim in ABS, PC/ABS, and MABS (clear ABS) where light transmission matters
  • Zinc and aluminum die casting for structural hardware, brackets, and premium-feel components
  • Overmolding for soft-touch and two-material surfaces, produced as two separate molding operations
  • Powder coating with conversion coating pre-treatment on metal components
  • Pad printing and decoration for legends, icons, and branding
  • Mechanical and ESD-controlled assembly of finished sub-assemblies

Quality considerations

  • Cosmetic consistency across cavities, across production runs, and across years — a replacement part has to match a machine already on the floor
  • Color and gloss held against an approved physical standard rather than a printed reference
  • SPI surface finish specified per surface, since gaming parts often mix high-gloss show faces with textured grip areas on the same component
  • Light transmission and diffusion consistency on illuminated and clear components

  • Matching a part to machines built in earlier production runs, sometimes years apart — the most common gaming requirement, and a tooling and process-control problem rather than a molding one

Frequently asked questions

Can you match parts to machines we built years ago?

This is the question we get most in gaming, and it is why our sample library retains parts lot-to-lot rather than only part-to-part. Send the reference part — a physical sample beats any color reference — and we will confirm the match before running production rather than after.

Do you handle decoration as well as molding?

Yes. Pad printing and decoration run in-house, as does assembly. Parts do not leave the building between molding, finishing, decoration, and assembly, which removes the usual finger-pointing when a cosmetic problem appears somewhere along that chain.

What cosmetic standard do you work to?

Against an approved physical sample wherever appearance matters, with the SPI finish called out per surface. Note that our powder coating is quoted as Class B — if a metal component needs a Class A show-surface finish, raise it at RFQ.
