Categories of cookies

Necessary — required for the site to function (e.g., security, load balancing). These load regardless of consent choices because the site cannot function without them.

Analytics — help us understand aggregate site usage (e.g., Google Analytics 4). These load only after you consent, and never carry message content, CAD filenames, or other sensitive form data.

Marketing — set by services that help us understand and reach buyers, including the ThomasNet directory tag and our Microsoft 365 chat widget. These load only after you consent to the marketing category. [LAUNCH GATE — neither script is in the codebase as of 2026-08-17, and components/CookieConsent.tsx does not yet offer a marketing category. Both the category and the consent-gated loaders must exist before either ships.]

How consent works

On your first visit, a consent banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or choose by category. Non-essential cookies do not load until you consent. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie preferences link in the footer.

Global Privacy Control
